Carolina Ramirez is the Founder and Principal Designer of Interior Design Center, LLC. She completed a 5-year Law School program and then decided to follow her passion by attending Design College, where she graduated with a degree in Interior Design.
She began her working career with Luis Perez at Fisher Island Designer. In 2001, she moved onto her first project in Miami, The Ocean Club on Key Biscayne. From 2002 to 2005, she had ongoing projects in Brickell Key Island, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, Fountain Blue Miami Beach, Bal Harbour Island, Grove Island and more.
In 2005, she moved to Sarasota, Florida when her son enrolled into IMG Tennis Academy. Her first projects were on Longboat Key Island, South Sarasota, Downtown Sarasota, and others. During this time she had an office on Main Street. Her office, on1527 Main Street downtown Sarasota, was a display of her commercial design work and the representation of the most prestigious European cabinets and lighting companies. She proudly won the SRQ Home of the Year Gold and Silver award in 2013.
Shortly afterwards, Carolina moved to East Hampton, New York where she designed one of the most well-known beauty salons named Salon Bar, which appeared in some of the most prestigious magazines. In 2014 she returned back to Sarasota. Since then she has been working on Longboat Key and Lido Beach residences.
Sarasota and Miami are now again her residential homes, where she is continuously expanding her work on a national and international level.
Over the past 15 years, the scope of her work has expanded to a wide variety including high-rise condominiums, low-rise residential, hospitality, and commercial.
